Dr Colin Teo is a urologist practising at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore.

His subspecialties are in endourology, laparoscopic/robotic surgery, andrology and male subfertility.

He has special interest in kidney stones and urological cancers such as kidney cancer, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, testicular cancer and penile cancer, and is experienced in special treatments such as low-intensity shockwave therapy for erectile dysfunction and prostatitis.

He was the founding head of the urology department at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

He completed his urology advanced surgical training in Singapore General Hospital Urology Centre, and received his fellowship in endourology (stones/laparoscopy/cancer) and andrology (men’s health/fertility) at St James’s Hospital in the UK. He went on to complete his senior Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery at the USC Institute of Urology in the US.

He is the re-elected President of the Society for Men's Health Singapore, Urology Residency Advisory Committee Member & Exit Examiner, and Council Member of the Chapter of Urologists, College of Surgeons.

He was also appointed as adjunct assistant professor and MBBS examiner at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

He is the invited founding member of the Robotic Surgery Society of Singapore, invited founding member in the newly-formed Androgen Society, and invited faculty in many international and regional conferences. He is also a member of the Asian Society for Female Urology, Society for Continence Singapore, Endourological Society, and International & Asia-Pacific Society for Sexual Medicine.

He is known and sought after by his patients for his sincerity, friendly nature and personalised compassionate care for his patients.

For best patient outcomes, Dr Teo regularly engages a multidisciplinary approach combining pharmacological, minimally invasive surgery and multimodality therapy when indicated with related specialists.

He is active in humanitarian missions, and is the recipient of the Healthcare Humanitarian Award in 2017.
